Well done, guys …

… hope you enjoy your well-deserved summer break! Willie sends his congratulations and thanks to the cast on a marvellous performance on 25 June.

Forget about G&S for what we hope will be a long, hot summer, but plan to be with us in August as we start preparing for our anniversary show. We start rehearsing The Mikado at Whitefield on Wednesday 18 August, and auditions for principal parts will be held on the afternoon of Sunday 22 August. Do keep an eye on this page for arrangements and a list of audition pieces.

Relay for Life: Saturday 3rd July

The Candle of Hope ceremony begins at 10.00pm, so please assemble for practice at around 9.00pm at the Sports Centre in Dalgety Bay. Willie says: “Music will be I Believe/Ave Maria and How Can I Keep from Singing. Please bring copies for I Believe/Ave Maria as some ladies (ideally altos) will have to take the part sung by the men in the show. The ensemble who sang How Can I Keep from Singing know what they’re doing; I’ll bring copies of the melody and words for others.  If any of you would like a copy emailed to you as a pdf file which anyone can read, please contact me on williamcampbell113@btinternet.com.
