Hugh Alexander
Hugh Alexander joined Dunfermline G&S just after the 1975 performance of Iolanthe and left just before the 1985 performance of the same show. In the intervening decade, he enjoyed playing such roles as the Major in Patience and Samuel in Pirates, as well as learning a lot more about stage management, lighting design and hard labour! After playing Phantis in Utopia Limited in 1984, a move to Aberdeen ended the run and Hugh has, since the late 1980s, lived in the far south of England.
